WESLI has 8 levels of instruction for developing your English Language
skills. Soon after you arrive, you will be given a placement
exam to
determine your English language skills and your appropriate academic
level.
Beginning Levels (100 and 200)
After completing Level 200, a student can carry on basic conversations,
manage everyday life in an English speaking environment, and read and
write simple material. (class

Intermediate Levels (300 and 400)
After completing Level 400, a student can converse comfortably on most
subjects, read the newspaper, and write correctly in non-technical
areas. (class schedule)
Advanced Levels (500 and 600)
Beginning at Level 500, students can choose from academic classes, for
those who plan to enter American Universities, or practical classes,
for those who want to use English in business or in everyday life.
After completing level 600, a student can conduct business in English,
and participate in most professional situations. (class

Academic and Business Skill Levels (700 and 800)
In levels 700 and 800, students polish their skills for university or
professional purposes. After completing level 800, a student is ready
to compete with the best American university students. (class
schedule)
Letter of English Proficiency
WESLI will issue a letter of English proficiency or transcript/certificate
to qualified students upon request.
Class Size
Each class has an average of only 9 students, with a maximum of 14. This
gives each student the opportunity for a lot of interaction with the
teacher.
