Students are interviewed and placed in an appropriate English Language
program, based on their abilities and goals.
English Placement Test
Very soon after you arrive at WESLI, you
will take a placement exam to determine which of the 8
Study Program Levels you
will enter. WESLI uses the MTELP (Michigan Test of English Language
Proficiency)
to place
students.
This
placement test will tell us what your current reading, vocabulary,
and grammar skills are in the English language.
We will also give you an
oral interview and, if necessary, a writing test.
