WESLI's university advisor can help you through the process of applying to these schools, or any others that you are interested in.

TOEFL is not a necessary requirement for students who have successfully completed WESLI's program. A letter of recommendation from WESLI can be used in place of TOEFL scores for undergraduate programs at many colleges and universities in Wisconsin, and for some graduate programs, too.

If You Want to Go to University Outside Wisconsin
WESLI's University Advisor can guide you through the entire process of choosing and applying to any college or university in the USA after you arrive. The advisor will help you with the paperwork and advise you about the tests you need for your chosen program. As with most of the special services offered by WESLI, there is no extra charge for this service.

Conditional Admission to most Wisconsin Universities
Meeting with a university advisor. In countries where it is extremely difficult to get a student visa, sometimes it can help to have conditional admission from a college or university before you arrive. This means that the university gives you a letter which says you will be accepted when your English is good enough to receive a WESLI recommendation. You present this letter along with your I-20 when you apply for the student visa in your country.

In many countries, WESLI works with educational advisors who can help you through this process. Please contact us for more information on conditional admission. There is an additional fee for this service.

Part-time University Studies in Madison
This allows eligible students to receive university credits before their English studies are completely finished, or polish their English by experiencing university classes. WESLI can help you arrange to study part-time at the University of Wisconsin, Edgewood College, Lakeland College, or Upper Iowa University.
